Why should personal finance be boring?
Financial seminars and workshops should be engaging. Attendees should feel comfortable, and there should be laughter. Most importantly, everyone should leave inspired, with a list of actionable items that they can immediately implement to improve their financial lives.
For your next event, choose from one of my various presentations (sample materials available here). Or we can work together to create a custom workshop. Whether it’s a small group, large auditorium or an on camera appearance, I’ve got you covered.
Please email me for more details or scheduling requests.
Why has no one given financial planner Lauren Lyons Cole her own TV show yet? She’s delightful, and hits the highlights of the Roth in a two-minute video.

Thanks to Urban Girl Squad and Lauren Lyons Cole for an informative, eye-opening, and only slightly terrifying evening. And when I’m sitting in the living room of the amazing apartment/house I’ve just closed on, surrounded by piles of designer purses and running shoes, with a solid emergency fund in the bank, eating 16 Handles every day guilt-free, it will all be worth it.

Lauren Lyons Cole, CFP® is a Financial Expert and Certified Financial Planner.

She focuses on helping people take control of their money by getting organized, spending smarter &earning more. Usually in that order.
After beginning her career at a boutique wealth management firm, Lauren saw the need for accessible financial planning and developed a practice as an independent financial planner—specializing in the money topics that matter most: financial organization, realistic budgeting, goal planning, debt repayment, and career advancement.
Lauren is highly sought out for her unique and effective approach to financial planning, as well as for her relatable financial seminars and workshops. She has been featured as a financial expert in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, Fox Business, Marketplace Money, U.S. News & World Report, and the Huffington Post. Although based in New York City, she is often on the move and works with clients across the country.
An avid traveler, she uses her discretionary income to explore the world—on a budget, of course. She went bungee jumping in New Zealand, but only because she had a 50% off coupon. Lauren is a Teach for America alum, and still enjoys spending time in the classroom teaching financial literacy workshops across the country. Recently, she spent six months studying Spanish in Colombia and is still trying very hard to correctly pronounce ahorrar, which means to save. Once she masters that, she’d love to teach financial literacy courses in Spanish as well.
To find out if working with a Certified Financial Planner can help you achieve your life goals, send Lauren an email. You can always stay up-to-date on what’s going on with Lauren by signing up for her email newsletter.
